
Jason Carter
General Manager, Development and Information Technology
Jason Carter joined Financial Synergy in 2005, with over 20 years IT experience. He's a proficient and customer focused professional experienced in many IT disciplines.
He previously worked for gold mining giant Newcrest Mining for eight years, mostly in the position of group IT operations manager. In this role Jason was responsible for IT and communications across several capital cities and many remote area sites. He managed communications and technology planning for a $1.3 billion mine, determined the feasibility and technical details for a $7 million fibre optic cable rollout, had new mobile phone towers installed at no cost and made a number of significant changes to the corporate IT infrastructure.
Jason graduated from Edith Cowan University in Bunbury (WA) with a degree in Information Science and after several years at an engineering company as an analyst/ programmer became a senior lecturer at a local technical college. Jason also operated his own successful IT consultancy firm and managed IT operations for a large residential development and construction company.
Jason sees his role at Financial Synergy as a 'return to his roots' in software development, and is excited to be able to combine his experiences to help make Financial Synergy the premier provider of superannuation platforms in the finance sector.

Tim Percy
General Manager, Acurity Division
Tim Percy's role is to ensure that the Acurity system and software continues to anticipate customer needs and changes in the superannuation and funds environment.
Tim has nearly 20 years experience working in IT and management consulting, having worked across the financial services, government, utilities and telecommunications sectors. He has broad experience and proven leadership abilities to help ensure that the Acurity software stays ahead of its competitors.
Tim has provided improved IT environments and business advice to large organisations including Novell, Victorian Government, Centrelink, National Australia Bank, PowerCor, Colonial Investments, Telstra and Melbourne Water.
He's recently held senior management roles with Novell where he was credited with facilitating and redesigning the company's global organisational structure. He was also the driver behind improving business operations across the Asia-Pacific region and instrumental to securing major deals.
Tim has an executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
